Would you like to make your own ringsling? It is really easy. You only need a pair of rings and a piece of a fabric you like. Our rings are size medium and suitable for medium weight fabric in for example cotton. The ringsling becomes easy to adjust but at the same time safe. Both the nylon and aluminium rings are made for making ringslings. They are carefully tested by the manufacturer and can lift 250 pound/500 kg.
There are several instructions on the Internet for making ringslings. From the easiest that almost everybody can sew to more complicated with for example padding.
If you have a short wrapstyle sling (for example BäraBarn-shawl) you can easy turn it into a ringsling for easier adjustment. You only need a pair of slingrings and being able to sew two seams to secure the rings.
When you make your own ringsling, make sure only to use rings that are made for slings, so you know that the rings can hold the weight. That way you can carry your child in a safe way.
